After an incident involving one of his allies, he separated from the group and ventured out on his own. Wielding a pair of twin pistol, a dynamite launching crossbow & a Caster Gun, he seems to be searching for something, or some one. {{:wiki:carter_slade_art_gpt_.png?200|}} ---- ==== Leaving the Deadlanders ==== After a some time travelling with the Deadlanders, Helushka (Wendigo) the Brave came across an artefact. The same night, he awoken to find his companion, whom he knew was harrowed, face deep in the torn open chest of the owner of the saloon they were staying in. Believing his ally had finally lost his dominion over the creature that reanimated his body, he set off on a hunt to put him out of his misery. When the rest of the group differed in their opinions on how to deal with this new development the Deadlanders went their separate ways. ==== Skills and Abilities ==== A crack shot with his twin pistols, Carter makes his money performing trick shot shows, or sometimes hunting bounties to make ends meet. Used to tinkering with his own weapons to keep them in top condition, Carter is adept at maintaining weapons and some machines, but his abilities are limited. Having travelled the weird west for sometime, he's developed the supernatural ability known as "The Stare", something that can be used to intimidate, or in some cases command the weak minded. Carter has a degree of knowledge about Caster Guns, having owned one for some time.
