A set of mysterious artifacts, consisting of simple coloured bands of metal. When carried by someone, they slowly eat away at their sanity enticing then to wear the rings in order to gain power.

Each ring has a different effect, and will react differently to different people based on their personality and strength of will.

The Texan Evangelist, Alphonse Mysterio, when donning the Red Ring, instead of losing his mind, he was empowered by the rings ability to dominate the minds of others. This led him to create his “flock” in an unsuspecting town. The unwitting population of the town were eventually freed thanks to the intervention of the Ring Hunters.

The Blue Ring mutated Helushka into a Wendigo, twisting his harrowed form into a monstruous predator that killed for sport, until he was sealed atop Gravedusts Mesa, the seals that kept him contained being maintained by the Shaman that took up residence in the small settlement.

The abilities of the other rings are currently unknown, but after the now harrowed and undead Alphonse tried to summon them in a profane ritual, it's a race against the clock to track them down and contain them before they can be brought together.
