Using a standard weapon, when rolling attacks, if you roll a natural 1 you weapon misfires. Skills that cause you to increase your misfire score, will increase this range.

| 2 | Jam — weapon cannot fire until cleared |
| 3 | Misaligned — next attack has disadvantage |
| 4 | Wild shot — attack resolves against a random nearby target |
| 5 | Backfire — wielder takes minor damage |
| 6 | Mechanical failure — weapon is unusable until repaired |
If the weapon is experimental in any way, and you misfire, refer to the following table
