Improved Hex Slingin'
At 1st level, your ability to cast spells is better than your average Huckster. When casting spells, you get a +1 bonus. You get a other +1 at 10th, and a final +1 at 17th

Resistance to Backlash
At 14th level, your understanding of how to avoid the negative sides of spell Slingin' allows you to sometimes avoid the backlash when critically failing when casting.
If you roll a 1 when casting a spell, roll a D6, if you roll a 1,2 or 3, the spell fails as normal, but you take no backlash. If you roll a 4,5 or 6, you take backlash as normal.
