Gravedigger Jones
The enigmatic man who tends to the graves of the newly dead.
Bizarrely, no mater which town you visit, he can always ben seen digging a fresh grave or tending to a new cadaver. Almost completely indifferent to the actions of Deadlanders and always willing to offer advice, or a cryptic warning when accosted.
He keeps a large collection of artefacts, collected from the dead, heroes and criminals alike.
Rumours of who, or what he is are different depending on the place or person. Some people assume he's a powerful huckster, retired from fightin', and putting people to rest to prevent now harrowed to spring up.
Some have speculated that he's a harrowed, or even Stone himself, watching the world turn.

Or even the manifestation of Death itself shepherding souls that deserve it to the afterlife.
Despite everything, if you ever inquire about him in a place where his presence is known, most people offer you a single piece of information along with his location…
